Meet Our Passionate Pet Care Team

Founder & CEO
Linda Gregersen
I started Doggy's Big Day in 2013 as a way to fulfill a dream of being able to work with dogs all day doing something fun! When I realized I could hike dogs for a living, I left real estate and property management and started my own pet care company. I love spending time with animals and learning about their funny quirks and personalities. I also completed a course on animal behavior, and I try to continually learn about positive reinforcement training and how to apply that to the pets I care for. I'm a certified pet first aid and CPR instructor, and I've been a volunteer and foster mom for the Humane Society of Utah and several other animal rescue groups. I currently have 6 rescue dogs of my own and a kitty. My dream now is to have 20-plus acres of land so I can hike dogs on my own property!

Pet Care Provider
Ashley Christensen
The most important things in my life are my family and my dog Piper. I enjoy traveling, hiking, snowshoeing, yoga, cooking, reading, and writing. And I love animals very much! I think this job is a perfect fit :).
I got my dog Piper from the Humane Society. I fell in love when I met her and couldn't bear to see her be put back in the kennel. She came home with me that day!
My favorite thing to do with Piper is to explore our beautiful state. The absolute best thing is when she gets the zoomies on the trail! Usually, it is around running water or small critters! She tries but never gets them!
